Two people injured as plane crashes in Roy neighborhood
ROY -- Two people were injured Wednesday afternoon when an aircraft crashed in a Roy neighborhood less than two miles away from Ogden-Hinckley Airport. According to a post on the Roy City Fire & Rescue Facebook page, the airplane crash -- which occurred near 4500 South and 2350 West -- was first reported to dispatch at approximately 3:55 p.m. The post noted that the small two-engine aircraft had two occupants, both of whom were transported to local hospitals.

A head-on car crash in Nova Scotia, last Saturday claimed the life of a Kaysville man and two Canadian teenagers. ROY — After a small plane crashed in front of a Roy home on Wednesday, city leaders are concerned about why these crashes are an ongoing problem. "I think everybody involved was living right. 2 hurt after firework malfunctions at Layton neighborhood show
LAYTON — Two people suffered minor injuries after a firework malfunctioned and shot into a crowd at Andy Adams Park Wednesday night. Batallion Chief Jeremy Stell with the Layton Fire Department said the crowd had gathered on Pioneer Day to discharge legal fireworks near Gordon Avenue and Emerald Drive, which is an area designated for fireworks in the city.
