John A. Logan College point guard and Carterville native Caden Hawkins received an invitation to the All-American JUCO Showcase on Wednesday. The event is July 12-14 in Atlanta, GA. The Showcase features the top rising sophomores in junior college basketball. More than 400 coaches attend the event and NBA scouts and national media are in attendance as well.

Precision Conservation Management recently released a summary of nine years worth of in-field data from Illinois farms. Farmers enrolled in PCM receive annual data analysis for their farm in addition to access to conservation experts and guidance on cost-share programs available to farmers. I don't know what it is, but my phone has been ringing off the hook nonstop with spam calls and they all come from different area codes. Has it been happening to you, too?. 'Abandoned' vehicle scam in Lyon County becomes arrest for Evansville woman
A vehicle that appeared to be abandoned in Lyon County turned into a short pursuit and the arrest of an Indiana woman.
