Illinois expands lead exposure risk areas, adds 148 new ZIP codes
The Illinois Department of Public Health has expanded its list of high-risk ZIP codes for lead exposure, recommending mandatory testing for children under 12 living in those areas, with the goal of implementing universal testing for lead exposure across all Illinois ZIP codes by 2026.

Kentucky Man Killed By Fellow Customer In Gun Shop After They Accidentally Shot Him
In a tragic series of events, a Kentucky man died at a local gun shop after a fellow customer accidentally shot him. The customer had been manipulating the firearm.
