    Pediatric Interim Care Center’s ‘Walk for the Babies’ returns to Kent Station on Saturday, Oct. 5

    As Labor Day weekend approaches and the school year begins, it’s also time to register for the Pediatric Interim Care Center’s (PICC) annual Walk for the Babies, coming to Kent Station on Saturday, Oct. 5, 2024.

    Participation in the walk-a-thon is free, and those who sign up at Walk4PICC.com will receive a complimentary Walk for the Babies T-shirt as a token of appreciation.

    The event supports PICC’s vital work in caring for newborns withdrawing from prenatal drug exposure in their specialized nursery.

    “We’d love to see you there!” organizers said, encouraging the community to join in the cause. There’s fun, fitness, and prizes ahead, so let’s Walk for the Babies!”

    Best of all, you’ll be giving drug-exposed infants the care they need to fully recover and thrive.
