Diving Into the World of Potatoes at the Idaho Potato Museum & Potato Station Cafe

If you're a potato lover like me, the Idaho Potato Museum is a must-visit! Nestled in the charming town of Blackfoot, this quaint museum offers a delightful dive into the world of Idaho's most famous crop. The museum itself is compact but packed with fascinating exhibits, from a giant potato photo op outside to a quirky collection of Mr. Potato Head toys and artistic potato mashers. Don't miss the engaging videos, including one on how McDonald's makes their fries, and the adorable talking potatoes in the basement.

The Potato Station Cafe is the cherry on top of this potato-themed adventure. The cafe serves up the fluffiest, most delicious baked potatoes I've ever tasted. I went for a loaded baked potato, complete with cheese and bacon, and it was divine. The fries and potato soup are also not to be missed, perfectly seasoned and piping hot. The cafe's cozy ambiance, highlighted by potato print curtains, makes it the perfect spot to relax after touring the museum.
