POCATELLO — The South Eastern Idaho Football Club, or S.E.I. F.C. in collaboration with El Caporal Mexican Restaurant, BBSI — Idaho Falls and Streamline Sports Physical Therapy, is excited to announce two upcoming home games as part of its 2024 United Premier Soccer League season.

South Eastern Idaho Football Club, known as The Corvids, lost its home opener on Saturday by a score of 4-2 against Gremio FC Utah 2. This game was the first of a three-game home series with upcoming matches at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 25, and another match at 6:30 p.m. on June 1.

Both games will be held at the ICCU Practice Field next to the ICCU Dome, formerly Holt Arena. Doors open 30 minutes prior to kickoff for both games.

The matches are free to attend. An incorporated nonprofit charitable organization dedicated to supporting local grassroots soccer development, S.E.I. F.C. relies on sponsors and donors to operate and will be accepting donations at the entry gate.

“South Eastern Idaho Football Club delivers a high-quality sporting organization that enriches the communities of Southeastern Idaho,” said Carlos Botello, co-founder and board member. “Through the club’s charitable activities and infrastructure development, these communities enjoy improved access to youth and adult soccer for players and fans alike. We are an inclusive, sustainable organization that reflects all the wonderful people and aspects of Southeastern Idaho.”

The Corvids are a semi-professional adult soccer club competing in the lowest tier of the professional soccer pyramid in the United States. A FIFA and U. S. Soccer affiliate club, The Corvids bring a highly competitive, fan-friendly premier soccer experience to Southeastern Idaho, offering a sports entertainment experience different from others available in the area.

From free or low-cost youth camps and scholarship funds to support participation in youth soccer, to improved adult soccer infrastructure, The Corvids provide a new opportunity for fans and players to experience the game.

You can follow The Corvids on social media to stay up-to-date on all the club’s matches and other events. Matches can also be viewed via livestream on the club’s Official Facebook page.

Prospective players, partners, donors and volunteers are encouraged to reach out and become a part of this exciting organization.
