Motorcyclist injured in crash at south Pocatello intersection

POCATELLO — A man suffered injuries Wednesday when he crashed his motorcycle at a south Pocatello intersection.

Pocatello police said the crash occurred around 4:30 p.m. at South Valley Road and Bannock Highway.

The adult male motorcyclist was transported via Pocatello Fire Department ambulance to Portneuf Medical Center for treatment. He's expected to survive, police said.

No other vehicles were reportedly involved in the accident.

The motorcyclist's name and further details on how the crash occurred weren't immediately available.

The accident remains under investigation by Pocatello police.
