July movies at ISU's Bengal Theater
ISU summer movies switch over to Wednesday night after the Fourth of July week and will feature "Accidental Texan" on July 10 at 5 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. in the Bengal Theater. Stranded in Buffalo Gap, Texas, fledgling actor Erwin meets Merle, a veteran oil driller who's about to lose everything he owns. In desperate straits, Merle asks him to pose as his landman to fool the police and a corrupt oil company owner and as they work together, they both learn about life on the other side of the fence. Fort Worth Report writes, "'Accidental Texan' goes down easy and leaves you feeling satisfied. ... Great casting.
