Two injured in crash involving pickup trucks on Interstate 86 near Pocatello

POCATELLO — Two men were injured in a two-pickup truck crash on Interstate 86 near Pocatello on Wednesday evening.

The crash occurred around 7:30 p.m. on Interstate 86 westbound just east of Pocatello Regional Airport.

The adult male drivers of the pickup trucks were transported via ambulances to Portneuf Medical Center for treatment of injuries suffered in the crash.

Their names and conditions haven’t been released.

The crash partially blocked Interstate 86 for more than 90 minutes.

Both pickup trucks were totaled in the wreck.

The accident remains under investigation by Idaho State Police.
