Two Arrested After High-Speed Pursuit in Shasta County
Two individuals were recently arrested on various charges after a high-speed vehicle pursuit in Shasta County. According to the Sheriff’s Office, deputies from the Burney Station initiated a vehicle stop on Highway 299 East in Burney, involving a grey Ford F150, late on the night of Friday, July 12.

Suspected porch pirate in possession of meth, stolen packages arrested
ANDERSON, Calif. - A porch pirate found in possession of stolen mail and packages, among other items, was arrested on Saturday, the Anderson Police Department said. On Thursday, police received a report at around 5:38 p.m. that a package had been stolen from the front porch of a home in the 20000 block of Ballentine Drive.

REDDING, Calif. — Redding Police arrested a convicted felon, on probation for stalking, after finding drug paraphernalia and a weapon in his car. RPD said in a Facebook post that officers were in the downtown area of Redding on Sunday, July 21 near the 1000 block of Market Street when they noticed a suspicious vehicle in a parking lot.
'Someone knows something.' Reward now $30K to find Nikki Cheng McCain, missing since May
Two local agencies and a group from Miami, Florida, have teamed up increase the reward amount for information that leads to finding a Shasta County woman who has been missing since May. The Redding Rancheria, Shasta County Secret Witness and the Kingsman Philanthropic Corp. are pitching in $30,000, or up to $10,000 each, for information that could help locate Nikki Cheng Saelee McCain, who was last seen May 17. ...
