Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre helped celebrate the end of the Olympics with a rare performance of their biggest hit.

Toward the end of the Olympic Games' closing ceremony on Sunday, August 11, the Long Beach native kicked off the hype for the Los Angeles summer games in 2028 by performing a couple of his greatest songs. Snoop hit the sand to perform his 2004 song "Drop It Like It's Hot" with a patriotic dancer by his side. Once he wrapped up, he ran on the main stage with his hitmaking partner Dr. Dre and performed "The Next Episode."

Before Snoop & Dre hit the stage, H.E.R. performed the "Star Spangled Banner" in Paris. The Hollywood-inspired show continued with Tom Cruise leaping from the top of the arena all the way down to the ground. He brought the flag to Los Angeles, where the 2028 games will be held, and stood on the Hollywood sign. Red Hot Chili Peppers opened the concert followed by a special performance from Billie Eilish and her brother Finneas.

The concert was the perfect way to end Snoop Dogg's historic run at the Olympic Games in Paris. Over the past 16 days, the Death Row Records owner served as a commentator for NBC Sports, but he also became a staple at the games from the moment he landed in France last month. He participated in events like the 200-meter race and "coached" the women's beach volleyball team. He also had some iconic moments with gymnast Simon Biles and got swimming lessons from gold medalist Michael Phelps.

Snoop also made history at the Summer Games. He became the first West Coast rapper to carry the Olympic torch ahead of the opening ceremony. He also banged the ceremonial baton to open the inaugural breaking competition , which is the first time the ritual had been performed in 900 years.

Check out more scenes from the performance below.
