Indiana Fever rookie guard Caitlin Clark was noncommittal when asked about potentially joining the Unrivaled basketball league, a 3v3 offseason league started by reigning WNBA MVP Breanna Stewart of the New York Liberty and Minnesota Lynx forward Napheesa Collier .

“Honestly, I’m just focused on this right now,” Clark told reporters on Tuesday (August 13) via Fever beat reporter Matthew Byrne of Clutch Points. “One thing at a time. Can’t always just be moving on to the next. My focus is right here.”

Last month, Clark's longtime rival WNBA All-Star Game teammate and fellow rookie Angel Reese of the Chicago Sky announced her decision to sign with Unrivaled.

"305 BARBIEEEEE SEE YALL IN THE YAMSSSSSSS," Reese wrote in response to the league's official announcement on her X account.

Unrivaled will give WNBA players the opportunity to play for compensation during the offseason without having to travel overseas. The league is set to feature 30 players across six different teams which currently includes Reese, Collier and Stewart, as well as Las Vegas Aces guard Kelsey Plum , Atlanta Dream guard Rhyne Howard , Aces guard Chelsea Gray , Dallas Wings guard Arike Ogunbowale , Seattle Storm guard Jewell Loyd , Aces guard Jackie Young and Phoenix Mercury wing Kahleah Cooper , with several spots remaining.

Clark, whose emergence as the NCAA all-time leading scorer during her collegiate career at Iowa led to a spike in popularity for women's basketball, is currently the favorite to win the 2024 WNBA Rookie Of The Year award, averaging 17.1 points, 8.2 assists and 5.8 rebounds per game.
