Lil Baby Reportedly Arrested In Las Vegas

Lil Baby has reportedly been arrested for allegedly possessing an illegal weapon.

The Atlanta rapper was apprehended by police in Las Vegas on Monday, August 26. According to TMZ , Lil Baby was inside Encore at Wynn Hotel when someone reportedly passed him a gun. The alleged act was caught on video. Police arrived on the scene and conducted an investigation. Afterward, cops arrested Lil Baby for possessing a concealed firearm without a permit, which is a felony. The 29-year-old rapper was taken to Clark County Detention Center and was held on a $5,000 bail.

"To be clear, Dominique Jones has a valid Georgia Carrying a Concealed Weapon (CCW) Permit," his attorneys Drew Findling and David Chesnoff said. "On his behalf we are actively investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding his arrest in Las Vegas."

For the record, Nevada does not recognize gun permits issued in Georgia. Prior to the incident, Baby was spotted at Toca Modera in Las Vegas where he reportedly gave a massive $11,000 tip to all the workers. Lil Baby has not publicly spoken about the incident yet. He's got a lot of other things on his mind like his upcoming album.

Over the weekend, Wham shared an update about his next project. He posted a series of photos of himself to his timeline with one image that shows him in the recording booth.

"Album 80% Done ….. #sorry4thewait," Baby wrote in his caption.
