Katy Perry Shares Throwback Video From Day After Daughter Daisy's Birth

Katy Perry is taking a walk down memory lane, sharing a throwback video from the delivery room just one day after giving birth to her daughter.

On Thursday (August 29), Perry used her Instagram Stories to share an older video from August 2020 just after she welcomed her daughter Daisy Dove Bloom with fiancé Orlando Bloom , per People . It was a big week for the "Woman's World" singer ; not only did she welcome her little bundle of joy but she also celebrated the release of her album Smile .

In the clip, an exhausted but happy Perry can be seen sitting in a hospital bed before some asked her "What day is it?" While enjoying a bite to eat, she responded, "It's the day after I gave birth to Daisy Dove Bloom and it's the day my 5th record comes out."

The delivery room video was seemingly a response to an earlier Instagram Story she made asking fans where there were when the album came out, as she told followers, "I'll show you where I was."

Daisy, now 4, has not only been an adorable little helper for her superstar mom , but she even inspired her single "Lifetimes," off Perry's upcoming album 143 .

"Every night, before we go to sleep, I say, 'I love you,' and then I ask, 'Will you find me in every lifetime?' and she says, 'Yes,'" Perry said, adding of her daughter, "The love I was missing, every mountain I climbed looking for this view, all this love, it came to me when she entered my life."
