Bunnie Xo Shares 'Never-Seen-Before Footage' Of Jelly Roll Proposing To Her

Bunnie Xo took her social media followers on a “cute little stroll down memory lane.”

In a recently-shared video, Bonnie Xo revealed “never-seen-before footage” of some of her earliest memories in her relationship with now-husband Jelly Roll . The first throwback video was recorded in 2015. It was “the first time I ever met J. Why I’m recording him, I have no f***ing idea. It’s just so f***ing weird. I was just so drawn to him,” she narrated.

Jelly Roll and Bunnie first met in 2015. She said the pair began talking in February 2016. In April of that year, Bunnie Xo flew to see the “Need A Favor” star on tour, though she said their relationship was “still strictly platonic” at that time. A few months later, in July 2016, Jelly Roll traveled to Las Vegas to film a music video and made plans to meet up with Bunnie. That’s when Bunnie said the couple shared their first kiss, and it’s “so special” that the moment was captured on camera

“Our chemistry was undeniable,” she remembered. “We couldn’t keep our hands off of each other. From then on out, we haven’t left each other’s sides.”

About a month later, Jelly Roll popped the question to Bunnie Xo on stage at a Deftones concert in Las Vegas — “how f***ing rock and roll is that?” — and they got married in a spontaneous courthouse wedding.

Jelly Roll, the reigning Best New Artist award in both Pop and Country categories at the 2024 iHeartRadio Music Awards, recently shared a heartfelt tribute to Bunnie Xo as they celebrated their eighth wedding anniversary. Jelly Roll wrote, in part: “8 years of marriage to my best friend . 8 years of laughing til our stomach hurts , of late night tv shows and giggles , unconditional love and overcoming obstacles , pushing boundaries and pushing each other further and further towards our dreams . 8 years of building. But 8 years is a small candle compared to the forever that I know is OUR story. …Let’s cheers to many many many more.”

Jelly Roll recently announced his next full-length album, Beautifully Broken , his highly-anticipated follow-up to 2023’s Whitsitt Chapel . So far, he’s released “I Am Not Okay,” “Liar” and “Get By” from the upcoming 14-track record. He recently kicked off his headlining tour by the same name. Beautifully Broken is due on October 11.
