    2 Toby Keith Albums To Release This Year — What To Know

    Two Toby Keith albums will arrive next month.

    A newly-compiled collection of 13 Number Ones will arrive on October 4. That album will feature some of Keith’s most iconic hits throughout his decades-long career, many of which were covered by other country stars during a recent tribute performance that aired on NBC and Peacock weeks after taking place in Nashville, Tennessee. the album will include “Should’ve Been A Cowboy,” “Courtesy Of The Red, White And Blue (The Angry American),” “As Good As I Once Was,” “Beer For My Horses” and others. On the same day, Keith’s first holiday album, Christmas to Christmas , will release as a remastered and expanded collection following its original release in 1995, per information shared in a press release on Keith’s website. The upcoming album will include a 13th bonus track, along with “Santa, I’m Right Here,” “Bethlehem In Birmingham,” “Christmas Rock” and more. See the track lists below:

    The announcement of the two new collections of Keith’s music arrived the same week Toby Keith: American Icon aired. The star-studded special included Trace Adkins , Priscilla Block , Luke Bryan , Eric Church , Jordan Davis , Scotty Emerick , Brantley Gilbert , Riley Green , HARDY , Tyler Hubbard , Jamey Johnson , Krystal Keith , Ella Langley , Mac McAnally , Ashley McBryde , Parker McCollum , Jelly Roll , Darius Rucker , Carrie Underwood , Clay Walker and Lainey Wilson . Toby Keith: American Icon supported The Toby Keith Foundation’s OK Kids Korral and Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt with a portion of the proceeds, per a previously-issued press release. The show also included footage of Keith’s final vocal recording, a rendition of “Ships That Don’t Come In” for HARDY’s DIFFTAPE , serving as a tribute to Joe Diffie . Luke Combs also appears on the track, saying it “was a no-brainer” to perform a song with Keith, and “ it now be Toby's last recording is kind of hard to put into words .”

    Earlier this year, Keith “passed peacefully…surrounded by his family,” following a battle with stomach cancer. He was 62. He’s survived by his wife, Tricia Lucus , and three children, Shelley Covel Rowland , Krystal Keith and Stelen Keith Covel .
