Simone Biles , the most decorated American gymnast in Olympic history, finally addressed backlash she received for wearing a jacket to a Chicago Bears game in support of her husband Jonathan Owens .

Biles, 27, wore a jacket that featured images of Owens, 29, from the previous season when he played for the Green Bay Packers, the Bears' arch viral, as well as the team's logo, during a preseason game against the Cincinnati Bengals on August 17. On Thursday (September 5), the 11-time Olympic gold medalist told TMZ that she now has Bears gear to wear while attending her husband's games this season.

“I have plenty now! So don’t you worry guys,” Biles said.

The gymnast had previously shared an Instagram post of herself wearing the jacket with the caption, "Bear down."

Owens signed a two-year deal with the Bears this past offseason after spending one season with the Packers, four with the Houston Texans and his rookie season with the Arizona Cardinals after going undrafted in 2018. The 28-year-old made 11 starts and appeared in all 17 regular season games for Green Bay in 2023, recording 84 tackles, two tackles for loss, three pass deflections and one fumble recovery returned for a touchdown.

Biles brought her Olympic career total to 11 medals won across three games earlier this month, winning gold in the women's team final, the women's individual vault final and the women's individual all-around final, becoming the first American to ever the event win twice, having previously won the all-around during her Olympic debut at the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Games.
