4th Annual Rock Springs Ramble: Join the Race for Nature and Community in Decatur

The Macon County Conservation Foundation is rolling out its 4th Annual Rock Springs Ramble, a morning filled with energy, exercise, and the great outdoors. On Saturday, May 18th, from 8 am to 12 pm, participants will gather at the picturesque Rock Springs Conservation Area on 3939 Nearing Ln, Decatur, IL, for a day of spirited competition and family fun.

This year's ramble isn't just a race; it's a celebration of nature and community. With a 5K challenge for the avid runners, a 1-mile Fun Run/Walk for those who prefer a gentler pace, and a Kid’s Fun Run to get the little ones moving, there's something for every level of fitness. The race will navigate the scenic Rock Springs-Fairview Bike Trail, starting and finishing at the main parking lot of the Conservation Area.

Registration fees are set at $35 per runner, with children entering the Kid's Fun Run for just $10. But it's not just about the race; it's about the rewards too! Participants can look forward to an array of swag and top finisher prizes. And what's a race without a little celebration at the end?
