Three Louisiana Men Heading To Federal Prison
(Lake Charles, LA) -- Three Louisiana men are off to federal prison for a series of armed robberies that ended in Calcasieu Parish. Prosecutors say 25-year-old Jaylon Brumfield of Lake Charles, 22-year-old Evan Ard of Hammond, and 22-year-old Taurus Finley, also of Hammond, went on a two-week crime spree in April 2022. The trio robbed businesses and people in Kentwood, in McComb, Mississippi, and in Beaumont before they were caught in Vinton after a high-speed chase in a stolen car. They were each sentenced to ten to 11 years.
