KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - The cool stretch in Kansas City might have been nice for a few days, but the heat has cranked up again, leaving many people without a place to go. In response to the near triple-digit temperatures, Community of Christ Church in KCMO is opening its doors from 9-5 p.m. as a cooling center. The church is located just off of 43rd and Blue Ridge Boulevard.
