Osceola, Pa. — A Tioga County man was charged after he was caught creeping around on the front porches of homes. State police at Mansfield were called in the early morning hours of June 17 to a home in Osceola Township for a report of a man on their front porch messing with the front door. Trp. Wellsville man in custody after fatal shooting in Steuben County
Woodhull, N.Y. — The Steuben County Sheriff's Office says a suspect is in custody for the fatal shooting Saturday of a Woodhull man. A Wellsville man has been charged with murder in connection to a recent shooting in Steuben County. 24-year-old Bradly J. Maddalena was arrested and charged with one felony count of murder for the shooting death of 57-year-old Wayne E Mosher. Tenth annual Alfred State Golf Tournament a success
The winning team of Raymie Auman, Jordan Wonderling, Nick Biedakiewicz, and Brett Migliore shot a 59 to win the Alfred State Drive for the Development Fund Golf Tournament. Thirty-four teams enjoyed gorgeous weather at the 10th annual Pioneers Drive for the Development Fund golf tournament at the Wellsville Country Club. The event presented by Mach Architecture raised more than $29,000 in cash and gifts in kind for Alfred State.
Richard Harvey Elliott IV, 15, Belfast
Richard Harvey ELLIOTT, IV, 15, of Belfast, NY, affectionately known as Ricky, passed away unexpectedly on June 20, 2024. He was born January 4, 2009, in Buffalo. Ricky had just completed his freshman year at Belfast Central School and was a high honor roll student, a testament to his dedication to academics. Described as loving and caring, Ricky had a vibrant personality and enjoyed making everyone laugh. He was known among his family and friends as a jokester who brought joy and levity to those around him. His hobbies included making Tik Toks and YouTube videos, playing basketball, riding bikes, and spending time with his siblings.
