    Pacers set roster for NBA’s summer league

    INDIANAPOLIS – The Indiana Pacers released their roster for the NBA’s summer league—and it includes some familiar faces to fans of the team and college basketball.

    The NBA 2K25 Summer League will take place in Las Vegas from July 12 through July 22. The Pacers have 15 players on the roster, including former Purdue standouts Lance Jones and Dakota Mathias, along with current Pacers players Ben Sheppard and Jarace Walker.

    Oscar Tshiebwe and guard Quenton Jackson, both designated as two-way players with the Pacers and Mad Ants last season, are on the summer league roster, as is Kendall Brown, the former Baylor standout who appeared in 15 regular season games and seven postseason games with the Pacers in 2023-2024.

    Indiana’s three second-round picks from the 2024 NBA Draft—Johnny Furphy (Kansas), Tristen Newtown (UConn) and Enrique Freeman (Akron)—will also participate in summer league play.

    Here’s the complete roster:

    • Enrique Freeman (Akron, rookie)
    • F Samson Froling (Australia, rookie)
    • F Johnny Furphy (Kansas, rookie)
    • F Josiah-JordanJames (Tennessee, rookie)
    • G Lance Jones (Purdue, rookie)
    • G Quenton Jackson (Texas A&M, 2-year veteran)
    • G Dakota Mathias (Purdue, 2-year veteran)
    • C Jamuni McNeace (Oklahoma, rookie)
    • G Tristen Newton (UConn, rookie)
    • G Ben Sheppard (Belmont, 1-year veteran)
    • C Oscar Tshiebwe (Kentucky, 1-year veteran)
    • F Jarace Walker (Houston, 1-year veteran)
    • G Trey Woodbury (Utah Valley, rookie)

    Jannero Pargo, a player development coach, will serve as head coach for the summer league squad.

    Opponents include Brooklyn, Minnesota, Phoenix and Denver. Games will air across NBATV, ESPNU and ESPN2.

    • Friday, July 12: Brooklyn vs. Indiana, 8 p.m. ET, NBA TV
    • Sunday, July 14: Minnesota vs. Indiana, 5:30 p.m. ET, NBA TV
    • Tuesday, July 16: Indiana vs. Denver, 4 p.m. ET, ESPNU
    • Thursday, July 18: Indiana vs. Denver, 4:30 p.m., ESPN2

    Rookie/free agent camp is scheduled to take place from July 6 to July 9 at the Ascension St. Vincent Center.
