INDIANAPOLIS -- The Pacers have signed Nebraska guard Keisei Tominaga to an Exhibit 10 contract -- a training camp deal but one that will likely lead to him spending this season with the Mad Ants -- a league source confirmed to the IndyStar. The signing was first reported by Jonathan Givony of ESPN.

Tominaga was named second-team All-Big Ten this season after averaging 15.1 points per game in his fifth year of college basketball. His points generally came in bunches when he was on from 3-point range. He made 76 3-pointers this season at a 37.6% clip. He was particularly deadly against Indiana, scoring 28 points in a win against the Hoosiers on Jan. 3, 20 in a win on Feb. 21 and 23 in a win on March 15 to eliminate the Hoosiers in the Big Ten tournament. He helped lead Nebraska to an NCAA Tournament bid for the first time since 2014.

An Exhibit 10 contract is a training camp contract that can be converted to a two-way deal. It can also include a significant bonus for a player who is waived after training camp but stays with the team's G League affiliate and is on the roster for at least 60 days. The maximum bonus goes up with the salary cap, and last year Exhibit 10 contracts could include a bonus as large a $75,000, and that figure will rise this season.
