Mack has 101.5 sacks during his ten-year career, the fourth most of any player currently on an NFL roster ahead of the 2024 season. The only players ahead of Mack are Calais Campbell (105.5), Cameron Jordan (117.5) and Von Miller (123.5). To begin his career, Mack has had over ten sacks in five of his first six seasons, with the outer coming during his rookie season in 2014. From 2019 to 2022, he couldn't accomplish that feat, but he came back alive in a massive way in 2023, with the 32-year-old erupting for 17 sacks.

Getting to pick the brain of any successful NFL veteran would be an excellent opportunity for a rookie preparing for his first season. But Latu being able to work with and learn from a former NFL Defensive Player of the Year who has a real shot at potentially joining the Pro Football Hall of Fame when his storied career comes to a close.

Latu was one of the most productive pass rushers in college football during his two years at UCLA, which led to him being the first defensive player drafted in the 2024 NFL Draft at pick 15 to the Colts. And now will join a talented defensive line that recorded the most sacks in the franchise's history since their move to Indianapolis in 2023 with 51. So if Latu can come in and make a day one impact , the Colts could easily have one of the best defensive lines in football in 2024.
