With College Football 25's early release coming at 4 pm Eastern Standard Time today, you will see mainly positive posts surrounding the game.

But Indianapolis Colts starting LB E.J. Speed has a bone to pick with EA Sports involving the College Football 25 video game.

The game hasn't even hit its standard release date (July 19), and Speed is already looking for an update to the game. The reason being that Speed's alma mater, Tarleton State, is not currently a part of the game.

Tarleton State is an FCS program located in Stephenville, Texas, but during Speed's time with the school, it was still only a D-II university. Ahead of the 2020 season, they made the jump up to D-I and are a member of the United Athletic Conference. EA Sports announced early this year that real FCS schools would not be part of the initial launch of College Football 25. Instead, made-up schools will fill those spots for the time being. But this does keep the door open for Speed to see his alma mater added to the game in the near future.

For the time being, Speed will have to utilize College Football 25's "Team Builder" feature to add Tarleton State into the game if he wants to rebuild the program in Dynasty mode .
