INDIANAPOLIS — Indiana Fever Guard Caitlin Clark will have her image depicted on a NASCAR hood at the Brickyard 400 on Sunday . But once the race is over, the hood will head to auction to benefit a good cause.

This weekend, Josh Berry is racing the No. 4 Ford Mustang. On its hood is the young basketball superstar, taking a jump shot, hoping to make the Hoosier state proud.

In August, that hood will be on display at a softball tournament dedicated to the late Matthew Alexander. Alexander was a 32-year-old Avon man and victim of the Indianapolis FedEx mass shooting on April 15, 2021 .
