Former Texas Longhorns star wide receiver looking absolutely unstoppable at Colts training camp practices

The Indianapolis Colts training camp has been rolling for nearly two weeks now and one thing has remained consistent. Former Texas Longhorns wide receiver Adonai Mitchell looks like he's going to be an absolute capital "P" problem for opposing NFL defenses.
This week in particular has been a huge win for Adonai Mitchell as he's seemed to stack great plays on great plays in every single practice. And the confidence is clearly starting to build as Mitchell looks more comfortable with each day.
Today, after an ankle-breaking route from Mitchell in 1-on-1s he took to showboating all the way down the field, inciting the crowd of fans to go wild. You can see just how nasty the route was in the video post below from Noah Compton.
All throughout Adonai Mitchell's college career at both Georgia and Texas he was a nightmare to guard one on one for opposing defense backs. A tall wide receiver like Mitchell shouldn't be able to sink his hips and burst with such flexibility and force out of his breaks, but he does it smoothly.
And when he can't beat defenders with his route running Mitchell has been showcasing the contested catch abilities that gave him five receiving touchdowns in College Football Playoff games for both the Texas Longhorns and Georgia Bulldogs. This rep from Monday's practice demonstrated that perfectly .
Mitchell is still locked in a heated battle for the outside "X" wide receiver role with Alec Pierce in training camp while Michael Pittman Jr. is still rocking the "Z" role and Josh Downs holds down the slot. Given how explosive Mitchell has looked thus far it seems Pierce is going to take a quick back seat to the second round rookie stud wide receiver. It's still early, but Mitchell is already playing like the absolute steal many thought the Colts got on NFL Draft day.
