Comedian Matt Rife is coming back to Indiana, just not the city where he previously canceled two shows.

It was announced earlier this week that Rife would be bringing his ProbleMATTic World Tour to Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis this year after he had previously canceled two shows in Bloomington.

What about Matt Rife's Bloomington shows?

He was expected to perform two sold-out shows at Bloomington's IU Auditorium last year, but those shows were postponed, first in February and again May . The second postponement was due to a "last-minute medical emergency," and was one of a handful of tour stops affected.

"Indiana: I'm so f**king sorry, but due to a last minute medical emergency, I have to reschedule our shows tonight (again)," Rife tweeted . "I've been doing 40+ shows a month for a year and a half and never had to do something like this. I'm so sorry. I hope you understand and I love you so much. ❤️💔"

After he announced the new tour and his stop at Gainbridge, a social media user asked about Bloomington.

While his upcoming show is a much larger venue, Indianapolis is almost 52 miles away from Bloomington, making it usually over an hour drive to the city.

However, during the presale for the upcoming show this week, there was a "Bloomington Presale" listed on Ticketmaster, suggesting that those who bought tickets to the canceled Bloomington shows may have received a presale code for the show in Indy.

How much are Matt Rife tickets in Indy?

Ticket prices for the canceled Bloomington dates ranged from $53.50-$113.50, according to IU Auditorium. Tickets for the show at Gainbridge range from $45-$144, according to Ticketmaster. Prices are currently available through the artist presale.

Various presales begin July 30 at 10 a.m., with general onsale beginning Aug. 2 at 10 a.m. For tickets and more information, visit mattrifeofficial.com .

When is Matt Rife coming to Indy?

Rife will be performing at Gainbridge Fieldhouse Dec. 6, 2024.

    Did Matt Rife get canceled?

Rife's fame also has met controversy after he joked about domestic violence at the beginning of his Netflix special released in last year.

Fans were upset by the joke and Rife's response to the backlash from his special only upset fans more.

He posted a link on his Instagram story and said "If you've ever been offended by a joke I've told- here's a link to my official apology," but the page led to a website for "special needs helmets."

    Matt Rife's new Netflix special

Despite the controversy after his first special, Rife signed another deal with Netflix, but this time for two more specials. The first is expected to drop before the end of 2024, Variety reported .
