'Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives' visits Che Chori

One Indianapolis restaurant is getting national attention thanks to a celebrity visitor. Famed foodie personality Guy Fieri stopped by Argentine restaurant Che Chori to film a segment for his show “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives” (Triple D).

The self-proclaimed “Mayor of Flavortown” will feature the restaurant on the episode “Fistful of Flavor” which debuts Friday, Aug. 2, 9 p.m., on Food Network.

Spotlight on Che Chori

Founder and owner Marcos Cesar Perera-Blasco opened Che Chori at 3124 W. 16th St. in late 2020 . The drive-thru + carry-out restaurant specializes in artisan food with an Argentine twist. While we don’t know what Fieri sampled during his visit, the menu gives us a good idea of what to expect with dishes like empanadas, pizzas, burgers, and El Choripan — an Argentine chorizo akin to a hot dog.
