The AC/GC Chargers softball team was in action Monday, and split their games against the Des Moines Christian Lions. The team took the first game 13-6, with an early lead. The Lions picked up two runs, while the Chargers tacked on eight in the first inning. AC/GC then put up another run in the second inning to go up 9-2, and both teams were scoreless in the next two innings. The Chargers picked up three more runs in the fifth, and allowed one, then tallied their final run in the sixth inning while allowing two runs for the Lions.
