Gwen Stefani 'open to anything' after No Doubt Coachella reunion

The 2024 edition of Coachella happening this weekend and next in Indio, CA will see a number of ‘90s favorites taking the stage, including Ska-punk favorites No Doubt , finally reuniting after almost a decade apart.

In a new interview with Nylon , No Doubt singer Gwen Stefani admits she’s “open to anything” after Coachella ’s two weekends of celebrations -- April 12-14 & 19-21 at the Empire Polo Grounds in Indio, CA -- though at the moment the band has no further plans together when all is said and done.

This year’s festival sets are “going to be a really nice bow to tie on the relationship,” she says, after first meeting all of the members when “we were kids” in the late '80s. Fully expecting the close bond that they all shared at the beginning of their musical careers to instantly return when the stage lights up, Gwen adds, “I already know what it’s going to feel like because we’re just so in sync when we’re onstage. It’s going to feel like riding a bike again. We’re going to be laughing, and we’re going to look at each other and go, ‘Oh my gosh — there you are.’”

Stefani also shared that she and bandmates Adrian Young , Tony Kanal , and Tom Dumont haven’t “really hung out or done anything” before the reunion, adding that therapy together would probably be a good idea. “We need to,” she says, “we have a lot of water under the bridge.”

These upcoming reunion shows have "been a long time coming... It’s been something that we were going to do," although as far as what the future holds, "I don’t have a crystal ball,” she says. “Most things have surprised me in life. One of the things I’ve learned is to be present in the moment and try to absorb what’s happening around me instead of looking ahead."
