South Atlantic, Carolina Leagues to realign in 2025
Minor League Baseball announced the realignment of the High-A South Atlantic League and the Single-A Carolina League for the 2025 season. The Hub City Spartanburgers (Spartanburg, South Carolina) will replace the Hickory Crawdads in the High-A South Atlantic League, with Hickory moving to the Single-A Carolina League in place of the Down East Wood Ducks, who will move to Spartanburg following the 2024 season.
Men’s Tennis Earns ITA All-Academic Honors
TEMPE, Ariz. – The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) has announced its 2024 All-Academic Teams and Scholar-Athletes. The Wofford men's tennis team and six individuals were honored this year. All-Academic teams boast a team GPA of 3.20 or higher. ITA scholar-athletes must have a grade point average of at least 3.50 (on a 4.00 scale) for the current academic year and be listed on the institutional eligibility form. The men's tennis team was recognized as an All-Academic Team for the seventh time in the last eight years. NEW ORLEANS, LA — The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced its All-Academic and All-American individual athletes, recognizing the USC Upstate women’s program under the direction of Carson Blackwelder for their team GPA of 3.08.
