Father Spends A Year Transforming His Backyard Into Daughter’s Dream Wedding Site & The Big Day Is Stunning

Many brides begin to dream about their wedding when they are little girls. They have every detail worked out for their special day. From a beautiful white dress to gorgeous bouquets and the perfect spot to say “I do,” some brides want it all.

When her boyfriend, Brandon, proposed, Madi Proz knew she wanted to have her fairytale celebration at her childhood home. Her father wasted no time getting the home and the grounds perfect for his daughter’s wedding.

Madi shared a video of her dad painstakingly working in the home on Instagram with the caption, “Dad has not stopped for the last year. Getting married in my childhood home was truly a dream come true and would not have happened without all his hard work. Beyond grateful for him.”

The video is a montage of her dad mowing, cleaning, painting, and building to create a venue of any bride’s dreams. The space is nothing if not picturesque and lush and 100% her father’s handiwork. There is no question that it was a labor of love, and people couldn’t get enough of it.

The Father’s Wedding Efforts Went Viral

The home was beautiful already, but Madi’s dad put in the work. Someone wrote, “With that property and THAT view, he could have definitely afforded to hire people to do all that. But he didn’t. He wanted to do it for his daughter. She is so loved.”

Others want to adopt him. Like this person, who wrote, “He’s a communal dad now, and this video is our take-a-book-leave-a-book of childhood dreams come true.”

This woman lost her dad but loved Madi’s video. “Stop it. I no longer have my dad, my little brother will be walking me down the aisle in a few months. Girls who still have their dads, and dads like THIS are beyond blessed.”
