Two From Alta Area Die In Buena Vista County Accident
Aurelia, Iowa — Two people from the Alta area have died in an accident in Buena Vista County. The Buena Vista County Sheriff’s Office reports that on Tuesday, August 20th, in the 4:00 p.m. hour, a southbound vehicle driven by 76-year-old Ellen Stevens of Alta pulled out from the stop sign at 60th Avenue to turn east onto county road C63. A westbound vehicle driven by 59-year-old Stephan Baxter of rural Alta collided with the Stevens vehicle.
