If you’re considering adopting a new furry friend, today might just be the perfect day to do so. On Wednesday, the Animal Care Centers of NYC are teaming up with Royal Canin Pet Food to celebrate New York City’s Adopt-A-Dog Day. As a part of this celebration, adoption fees for dogs at their shelters will be waived. NYC bus crashes into Burger King after driver apparently suffers a medical episode
NEW YORK (AP) — A New York City bus driver apparently suffered a medical episode early Thursday and crashed his bus into a closed Burger King restaurant, police said. The driver crashed the Metropolitan Transportation Authority bus into the fast food restaurant in Brooklyn just after midnight, police said. He was taken to a hospital for treatment. Neither of the two passengers on the bus was injured.
