College Station Police Arrests After A Stranger Enters Two Apartments In The Middle Of The Night And After Someone Arrested For DWI Was Driving A Roommate’s Car Without Permission
A College Station man tells police he went into two apartments at different complexes at 3:55 and 4:50 Monday morning (July 15) in order to take a shower. That led to the College Station police arrest of 29 year old Edgar Garza of College Station on two counts of criminal trespassing. At the time of his latest arrest, Garza was out on bond awaiting trial on misdemeanor charges of falsifying a drug test and indecent exposure that took place on separate days in May. Garza remains jailed as of July 17 in lieu of bonds on the new charges totaling $6,000 dollars.
Human remains found in wastewater lift station identified as missing Texas A&M student
CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Forensic analysts have identified human remains found in a wastewater lift station as those of missing Texas A&M student Caleb Harris. City workers discovered the remains on June 24 while conducting maintenance at the Perry Place wastewater lift station on Lexington Road. The remains were transported to the Nueces County Medical Examiner’s Office, but due to advanced decomposition, identification was not possible at the time. The remains were then sent to the University of North Texas Center for Human Identification (UNTCHI) for DNA analysis, along with samples from Harris’s parents.

A Bryan man awaiting trial on charges of assaulting a College Station police officer and evading arrest in February of 2023 returns to jail following his weekend arrest on a new assault charge. The Bryan police arrest report says six officers were involved in removing 25 year old Giovanni Carrillo from a home near Texas Avenue and Highway 21 on Saturday afternoon. Carrillo was taken to jail on charges of punching a woman over the age of 65 in the face and resisting arrest after officers forced their way into a bathroom to take him into custody. As of July 15, Carrillo remains held in lieu of bonds totaling $22,000 dollars.
