Alli Clark, Reece Cochran voted the Press-Citizen's Athletes of the Week

Regina softball player Alli Clark and Clear Creek Amana baseball player Reece Cochran were voted by Press-Citizen readers as the Athletes of the Week.

Clark took home girls Athlete of the Week with 30% of the vote, edging Solon softball's Kendall Jensen who finished with 23%.

Clark provided a spark during Regina's 10-2 win over West Liberty on June 20. The fourth-year Regal went 3-for-5 with two RBIs and scored two runs of her own.

Cochran earned boys Athlete of the Week with 37% of the vote. Regina baseball player Jack Clark placed second with 23%.

The CCA junior made things happen at the plate during CCA's 8-4 win over Marion on June 17. Cochran added two hits and three RBIs to his resume.

The Press-Citizen reached out to Clear Creek Amana for a photo of Cochran, but did not receive one by production deadline.
