Caitlin Clark and Kate Martin's Iowa Pastimes Together Surface Before WNBA Showdown

WNBA rookies Caitlin Clark and Kate Martin have maintained a wholesome and heartwarming relationship since their time at Iowa together.

And prior to their second matchup against one another in the WNBA, an article from USA Today's Lindsay Schnell discusses two former Iowa Hawkeyes' favorite off-court activities together.

"They talk every day, usually via text message, and spend time together whenever their chaotic schedules allow," Schnell wrote in the article. "Their favorite pastime: Exploring new restaurants and trying different desserts. Clark is a sucker for warm chocolate chip cookies. Martin loves anything with lemon and blueberry."

Schnell also made clear that Clark and Martin do much more than talk about basketball.

"We always send each other photos like ‘wait, do you like this outfit?’ " Martin said, laughing. "That’s a fun little piece about the WNBA. We were both nervous (at the beginning of the season) like, ‘What are we going to wear? We always just wear sweatpants!’ "

It's great to know that these two rookie icons have each other to lean on.

That said, fans can expect these two to compete like old foes when the game is ongoing tomorrow night.
