Lisa Bluder Receives Nickname From Caitlin Clark Before Fever vs. Aces WNBA Clash

Former Iowa Hawkeyes coach Lisa Bluder has cemented her status as a legend.

Perhaps her biggest accomplishment of all was how she helped develop Caitlin Clark into a generational talent that is truly changing the sport of women's basketball.

Clark and Bluder have a great relationship. And this is proven by a recent Instagram post from Bluder, where she's seen posing alongside Clark, Martin, and former Hawkeye and current Aces forward Megan Gustaffson.

The Hawkeyes legends appeared to have dinner in Las Vegas prior to Tuesday's game between the Indiana Fever and the Las Vegas Aces.

And in the post's comments, Clark gave her former coach a new nickname.

"Love you coach ! My retired queen," Clark wrote.

Clark added another comment that wrote, "Thanks cami!!!!" Cami appears to be the person who hosted the former Hawkeyes in Vegas.

It's great to see Clark, Martin, Bluder, and Gustaffson all linking up in the professional game.

Hawkeyes fans must be mighty proud, and excited to see these young women facing off on the court once again on Tuesday.
