The Indiana Fever and Caitlin Clark defeated the Minnesota Lynx in a jam-packed Target Center on Sunday. The rookie sensation continues to have a huge impact on the WNBA , and she scored 17 points with six assists in front of 18,000-plus fans .

After the game, Clark had a reunion with former Iowa Hawkeyes teammate Monika Czinano. Following the Fever's win over the Lynx, Clark and Czinano spent some time together.

Czinano spent three of Clark's four seasons as the center for the Iowa Hawkeyes, and the two share a special bond even today.

However, Czinano mentioned it was much different watching Clark play from the stand as opposed to sharing the court with her, per Patrick Reusse of The Star Tribune.

"For three years, I was usually within 40 feet of Caitlin during a basketball game, but not today."

Czinano played five seasons at Iowa, with the final one coming in 2022-2023. She was named four-time First-Team All-Big Ten and averaged a total of 14.9 PPG during her days wearing a Hawkeyes uniform.

Clark posted the photo of the two on Instagram with a caption at the bottom directed towards Kate Martin.

She is from Watertown, Minnesota, so making the trip to see her former college teammate was special for both individuals. Czinano would go on to be selected by the Los Angeles Sparks in the third round of the WNBA Draft before being waived shortly after. She then spent the 2023-2024 season with TFSE-MTK Budapest.

Nonetheless, the moment and reunion between the two former Iowa players is something they will likely remember for a long time.
