Meghan Markle fans all point out same 'gesture' made at Prince Harry

When Meghan Markle and Prince Harry gave their rare joint interview on CBS Sunday Morning's last weekend many viewers rushed to point out the same thing about The Duchess of Sussex.

Harry and Meghan joined Jane Pauley to discuss their new project aimed at helping bereaved families to cope when they have lost a child to suicide as a result of cyberbullying. Their promotional chat for The Parents Network saw the couple open up about their own experiences with loss and mental health issues in a very candid chat.

However, while the couple made many confessions relating to their own emotional struggles in the chat, viewers had another talking point when they noted that Meghan appeared to giving Harry the "side eye" at one moment in the conversation. They then took to social media to discuss the exchange.

Host Jane said: "Well, you hope that when your children ask for help, someone, you know, is there to give it." Harry then replied: "If you know how to help." Meghan was then heard humming, appearing to agree with her husband. However, some claimed it was actually her annoyance at him interrupting spilling out.

One viewer wrote: "She is not pleased he is talking," while another said: "Yep, she's giving him side-eye". A second agreed: "Catch that quick side eye Meghan Markle gives Prince Harry when he interrupts." Viewers also noted that Meghan appeared to look uncomfortable when Jane called their new initiative modest.

One commented: "Wonder what she's worried about. She looks extremely tense." As another said they noticed Meghan's demeanour change when Jane said "This is a modest beginning, you know, it's not an army of parents yet," subsequently asking what their "ambitions" are for the network.

Meghan smiled upon hearing the the word "modest," then replied: "I think you have to start somewhere." A viewer observed: "Meghan Markle did not like Jane Pauley’s comment about their parent’s group launch being a modest beginning."

Meanwhile, another person at home analysing the interview speculated that it wasn't Harry that Meghan appeared to be looking at, but a third person who was not visible. They wrote: "Who is she looking at… There is somebody with them that she is giving that stare too that she trusts."

Body language expert Judi James has since shared her professional opinion on the interview, highlighting three key movements that gave away Meghan's feelings.

She told The Mirror : "As Meghan shares her own story of suicidal thoughts she performs several hair-preen rituals and a wry, mirthless smile that suggests she is being politely brave. Her hand goes out to hold Harry's leg as though seeking his support although he sits relatively still with his head cocked, watching her face with what looks like concern. When he looks down his fingers rub together in what looks like anxiety as Meghan describes what she has 'overcome' after 'not being believed'."

During the interview Meghan touched on her own struggle with suicidal thoughts. She told Jane: "When you've been through any level of pain or trauma, I believe part of our healing journey-certainly part of mine-is being able to be really open about it.

"I really scraped the surface on my experience, but I do think that I would never want someone else to feel that way and I would never want someone else to be making those sort of plans and I would never want someone else to not be believed."
