Kate Middleton has made a rare public appearance amidst her ongoing cancer treatment .

On their official social media account, Prince William and Kate penned : "Well done @teamgb, what an incredible journey! Every athlete showed immense dedication, heart and passion. You made us all so proud!"

They continued: "Here's to celebrating every triumph at @paris2024 and looking forward to more from @paralympicsgb_official later in the summer. "

Their uplifting words were accompanied by a video that was a montage of messages by a host of celebrities, including David Beckham and rapper Snoop Dogg.

Kate disclosed in March that she was undergoing chemotherapy for a form of cancer, which was discovered during a planned abdominal surgery.

William was left "devastated" by the diagnosis, the author of a new biography has revealed.

Biographer Rob Jobson told US Weekly that the 41-year-old was equally shattered upon learning that his father, King Charles, was also battling cancer.

Both Charles and Kate leaned on each other during this challenging time, receiving an overwhelming 27,000 written messages wishing them well.
