McDonald's is set to remove eight items from its menu this week in a significant revamp .

Devotees of the fast food giant have just one day left to enjoy items from Maccies' summer menu , which was introduced across UK outlets on July 17.

The Cheesy Garlic Bread Dippers, McCrispy barbecue Smokehouse, Double Big Mac and Double Big Mac with Bacon are among the items that will be removed from the Maccies menu on Tuesday.

Two McFlurry flavors - Milkybar Raspberry Ripple and Munchies Cookie Dough - as well as the chicken share boxes, are also being discontinued. McDonald's regularly updates its menus throughout the year, so while some items are being removed, new ones will be added.

This will be the case this month, with new items launching on Wednesday, September 4.

One of the new additions to the menu this week is the never-before-seen Twix Latte. This coffee-based drink features a Twix flavor syrup, topped with caramel cream and pieces of the chocolate bar.

In addition to this, five old favorites will be making a comeback, including the chain's much-loved Mozzarella Dippers and the Philly Cheese Stack. The Mozzarella Dippers are sticks of Mozzarella cheese coated in breadcrumbs and served with Salsa dip, while the burger features two beef patties, grilled and crispy onions, cheese sauce, two slices of cheddar cheese and pickles, all packed into a toasted bun.

Other popular items returning next month include the Chicken Big Mac, Galaxy Chocolate McFlurry and the Twix Chocolate McFlurry.

As previously mentioned, these new menu items are set to arrive on September 4, the same day the fast food chain's Monopoly game will be making a comeback.
