Mobile County under a flash flood warning early Thursday evening
A flash flood warning was issued by the National Weather Service on Thursday at 3:21 p.m. in effect until 5 p.m. for Mobile County. "At 3:21 p.m., the public reported thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly," explains the weather service. "Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas."

Mobile Co. DA disputes special counsel report, says cyber commander didn't break the law
MOBILE, Ala. (WPMI) — Mobile County District Attorney Keith Blackwood is pushing back against claims former cyber commander Kevin Levy broke the law. An attorney hired by the Mobile City Council found Levy tampered with government documents, which is a misdemeanor. Blackwood says there's no basis for those claims and Levy will not be charged.
