Polk County Sheriff's Office Investigates July Credit Card Fraud at Haines City Walgreens

Haines City, FL – The Polk County Sheriff's Office is actively investigating a case of credit card fraud that occurred in early July 2024 in Haines City. The victim was alerted to suspicious activity on her credit card, which had been used at a Walgreens on US Hwy 27 without her authorization.

Authorities are currently seeking the public's assistance in identifying the suspect responsible for the fraudulent transaction. The suspect was captured on surveillance footage at the Walgreens store.

Detectives are asking anyone with information about the suspect or the incident to come forward. Those who believe they may have relevant details are encouraged to contact Detective Turnage directly at (863) 292-3398 or via email at MTurnage@polksheriff.org.
