    FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Englewood Cliffs, NJ – In a terrifying discovery, Unilever U.S. has launched an emergency recall of approximately 137,000 cases of Popsicle Jolly Rancher Frozen Confection Pop single-serve products after an alarming revelation: the products contain undeclared milk. This deadly allergen, not listed anywhere on the label, has already led to two reported allergic reactions, leaving families across the country on edge.

This urgent recall targets single-serve Popsicle Jolly Rancher Green Apple, Blue Raspberry, and Grape Frozen Confection Pops, which are sold through ice cream trucks, concession stands, and grab-and-go freezers nationwide. These potentially hazardous products are still out in the public, posing a serious risk to individuals who suffer from dairy allergies or sensitivities.

Warning: The slightest ingestion could trigger a severe or life-threatening allergic reaction.

Shoppers are urged to take immediate action—these affected products are hiding in plain sight. Though they resemble the familiar Popsicle treats, they carry a hidden danger. This recall does not affect the safer 18-count multi-packs sold in grocery stores. But the single-serve Pops could be lurking in any public freezer, ready to cause an allergic disaster.

    Recalled Products:

    • Product: Popsicle Jolly Rancher Green Apple, Blue Raspberry, Grape Frozen Confection Pop
    • Lot Codes: MAY1725KY4, MAY1825KY4, MAY1925KY4, JAN3026KY4, JAN3126KY4, FEB0126KY4, MAR1226KY4, MAR1326KY4, MAR1426KY4, MAR1526KY4, MAR1626KY4
    • Size: 2.71 fl oz
    • UPC: 077567003720

Distributed between February 1, 2024, and August 15, 2024, these products are widely spread across the country, raising fears of more allergic incidents as unaware consumers may still be purchasing them. If you or someone you love is allergic to milk, consuming this product could result in rapid and severe symptoms, potentially sending them into anaphylactic shock.
