A new restaurant has opened in Streetsboro, Ohio

STREETSBORO, OH - A popular restaurant chain known for its fried chicken has opened a new location in the city.

Are you a fan of Popeyes? If the answer is yes, you might want to know that the restaurant chain has opened a new location in Streetsboro at 9346 OH-14. According to a post from the local chamber of commerce's social media account, the new restaurant celebrated its grand opening on July 2.

At the new location, customers can, of course, get Popeyes' famous fried chicken and chicken sandwiches. The chain offers chicken tenders, boneless wings, and bone-in wings.

In addition to their signature fried chicken, the chain has fried popcorn shrimp. As for sides, the chain serves options like homestyle mac & cheese, Cajun fries, mashed potatoes with Cajun gravy, red beans & rice, coleslaw, and buttermilk biscuits.

Do you have room for dessert? Popeyes has strawberry biscuits topped with icing and cinnamon apple pies.

And if you want something to quench your thirst, there is, of course, the chain's signature sweet tea. They also offer unsweetened iced tea, lemonade, mango lemonade, and strawberry lemonade.

For just opening I am very impressed. Drive-thru didnt take nearly as long as I expected. No mistakes with my order, and everything was hot and fresh. Only issue I had was the syrup/carbonation was off, but I am sure it won’t stay a problem for too long. The workers seem to be fast learners and were very nice! Will definitely be going back soon!

The drive-thru staff was very pleasant and the food was good. I was excited to try the food because I have never had Popeyes before. Unfortunately, my husband and I got a completely wrong order. The receipt was correct so I didn't think I would need to check everything and hold up the extremely long line. The only thing right were the sodas and a regular side of rice and beans. I understand this was opening day and they were slammed, but it wasn't a great first experience. Will go back at least one more time to hopefully get my spicy chicken sandwich and other sides that I wanted to try
