A new restaurant has opened in Lakewood, Ohio

LAKEWOOD, OH - A new restaurant has come to town.

If you're in the mood for "Mississippi inspired cuisine, with a Cajun twist," you might want to check out the new restaurant Naomi's Recipes, which is a new restaurant that opened its doors earlier this month in Lakewood at 11817 Detroit Ave, according to the restaurant's social media account.

The menu includes appetizers like southern soul rolls, fried green tomatoes, catfish nuggets, wing dings, breaded mushrooms, and fried okra. Also offered at Naomi's are sandwiches like Polish boys, shrimp po'boys, steak Philly (the restaurant also has a chicken version), Cajun fried chicken breast, and catfish po'boys.

As for main courses, the restaurant has dishes like shrimp & grits, catfish & grits, shrimp alfredo, chicken alfredo, grilled salmon, turkey chops, fried chicken, grilled chicken, fried shrimp, grilled shrimp, chicken & waffles, and spaghetti with meat sauce. Each dish comes with a side of your choice. Side options include mac & cheese, green beans, yellow rice, cornbread, mashed potatoes, grilled vegetables, and shrimp pasta salad.

Drop everything and go to Naomi's Recipes in Lakewood NOW. Any restaurant that serves fried okra will always get my attention and it did not disappoint. The southern rolls with chicken were delicious. The fried chicken was so juciey, it ran down my chin and the flavor of the meat was outstanding. The mac and cheese was absolutely delicious and the green beans... THE FREAKING GREEN BEANS. Yeah. I could eat an entire bowl of those green nuggets from heaven! The smothered Turkey Chops were out of this world. Left my mouth watering for more. The Collard greens and grilled vegetables were perfectly seasoned. There was zero grease on our plates. That's a plus for me. This food was cooked with care. Gold star for the service as well. We will most definitely be back.
