CLEVELAND, OH - A new restaurant has opened on the eastside.

On August 8, the new restaurant Charter House Grille celebrated its grand opening, according to the restaurant's social media account. Customers can find the restaurant in Cleveland at 991 E 185th St.

The restaurant's menu includes starters like shawarma hummus dip, cheesesteak rolls (which are filled with shaved ribeye, shallots, peppers, white cheddar, and fancy A1 mayo), and duck fat fries, which are topped with herbs, fried garlic, and Jameson bearnaise. Also on the menu are some salads like a classic Caesar salad and balsamic steak & peaches salad, which has peppery arugula, shallots, tomatoes, steak, peaches, and blue cheese.

In addition, the restaurant has sandwiches like the 185th Dagwood (which comes with house slaw, smoked turkey, pancetta, honey ham, aged white cheddar, tomato, romaine, and shallots), salmon burger (which comes with a lemon caper salmon patty, mixed greens, pickled shallot, and Creole remoulade), and Charter House burger, which is a smashburger with mixed greens, fried pickled shallot, heirloom tomato, gherkin aioli, pancetta, and aged white cheddar.

As for main courses, Charter House Grille offers IBC braised short rib, chicken gnocchi, grilled red snapper, herb-crusted lamb racks, alfredo penne bake, and seared salmon. If you have room for something sweet, the restaurant has ube cheesecake and Cinnamon Toast Crunch bread pudding.

Here is what a customer had to say about the new restaurant in a Google review:

Went there on a whim while looking for Monday night dinner. Wow! What a treat. Met the gentlemen that poured their hearts and souls into this, and it paid off. Great food, people and atmosphere.

    Another customer wrote:

The Dagwood sandwich is incredibly huge and has been had three times but my companions and thoroughly enjoyed. I eat pescetarian and enjoyed the salmon on top of a very unique risotto cake, and on the another visit had the salmon burger which was also one of the best I've ever had. Tonight returning I had the chicken gnocchi. Apparently the

chicken is separately seared in its own fats. And oh my gosh, is it great flavor and the gnocchi is the most unusual I've ever had. Covered with a butternut cream sauce. It is melt in your mouth, airy and light and I've never had gnocchi quite like that.

If you want to check out the restaurant, you can find it at 991 E 185th St, Cleveland, OH 44119.

Reservations are recommended. You can make reservations through OpenTable.
