A new restaurant has opened in Westerville, Ohio

WESTERVILLE, OH - A new restaurant has come to the city.

On August 20, High Bank Distillery Co. celebrated the grand opening of its new location in Westerville with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, according to the local chamber of commerce's social media account. People can find the new restaurant at 28 S State St.

In addition to being a distillery that offers whiskey, High Bank is a restaurant that is open for lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch. The lunch and dinner menu includes items like sticky chicken wings (which can be served with flavors like gochujang, crystal glaze, whiskey BBQ, white BBQ, and Fresno buffalo), the High Bank deluxe burger, broccolini grilled cheese, spicy dipped chicken sandwiches, fish & chips, and more. The weekend brunch menu includes buttermilk pancakes, breakfast burritos, steak & eggs, avocado toast, and more.

I am so excited to have High Bank in Uptown Westerville and love that they are using the old historic post office building and what they have done to make an absolutely beautiful space. Our dinner there was excellent. My wife had the burger, and I had the peppadew pasta. Both were really good. As you can imagine, the cocktails were also really great. Can't wait to head that way again soon!

Great first visit, the staff was welcoming, service was great, Jarad was attentive and had good suggestions. I had the burger which was very good, basic enough but lots of flavors with the homemade pickles and sauce. My wife and son had the chicken sandwich which was very good , nice Korean type sauce and well breaded and moist chicken. The fries were good as well as the fry sauce. The star of the show was the whiskey. While I am a novice bourbon guy but love Jack, I was questioning the blended Whiskey. I was impressed, we had the Whiskey Wars, Barrel Proof and a Smoked Old Fashioned and all were spectacular.
